I don't have many pictures of the day, but my hubby turned 24 this year. I love you, Miles!

The Wedding Cake

I guess it's been a year, and we saved up the cake in the freezer for a whole year. So glad to have the space in my freezer again. I must say...the actual cake was not so bad....the frosting however! SICK!

July 5, 2009--Our First Anniversary

For our first anniversary, we decided to go up to the canyon and just chill. I was quite pregnant, so it didn't seem fitting to go somewhere and spend much money.

When we got home, I had a surprise for Miles. I had been looking for a birthday present for Miles and I couldn't find anything that I thought he might need. One day while shopping with my mother I saw this patio set, but they wanted $99 for it. I couldn't justify spending so much money on just his birthday when we were about to have a child. However, the store didn't have it in stock. So we called a nearby store, and they had the same set, but it was only $50. Seriously!! I'll take it. So I got this patio set and my parents set it up while we were in the canyon and when we came home---it was waiting. This is his reaction!

A Baby Shower!

Thanks to Bonnie, Milissa, and Macee for throwing a great baby shower. We got some wonderful gifts!

A Garden?!

I've just been so busy outside that I haven't had time to blog. (Plus, I don't have the internet at my house, so that makes it a little rough.)

Here are the first fruits of "Square Foot Gardening."

These are the first strawberries from my very own garden!!



I just planted the corn in these boxes...I'll have to let you know how it turns out!


This is the flowerbed just outside my house. But that's not all!


We have tomatoes, peppers, onions, and carrots.

We also have peas, beans, jalapenos, lettuce, and spinach. Plus a few extras like watermelon and strawberries. Hopefully, we will have a great harvest!

We moved...

I know that you have all been wondering what happened to us! Back in January, Miles lost his job and we didn't quite know what to do about it. He applied for a million jobs, but the economy doesn't provide for many openings. He finally got a job in March, but by then, we decided that we needed to start saving money. He applied at the grocery store in Malad, and he got a job as the butcher. And since my grandma owns a trailer house in Malad that has 3 bedrooms and it's pretty close to free, we decided to save our $500 bucks a month and move to Malad. I'll have to post some pics later, because right now....it's just boxes!!

It's official.....it's a.....

On the 5th of March, we got to go back to the doctor for the first ultrasound. We were letting people place bets on what we would have, but I knew all along. Of course, I was right.......

IT'S A BOY!!

So we went out to celebrate at Applebee's......and we just had to take a picture of the finest moments in life.....*lol*

I was single again....for a minute.....

Miles's mom, Bonnie, was on her way to Arizona to see Grandpa Stocks. We were at her house while she was getting ready, and she just happened to invite Miles to go. Since he is jobless right now, he jumped on the chance to go on a vacation (without me). Somebody has got to work! He went to Arizona and Mexico in one little trip.
