Ever since my little sister went to the Special Olympics in McCall, I've wanted to go and check out their Winter Carnival. They have snow and ice sculptures and celebrate everything cold. It was very convenient when Miles's aunt called and told us about her brother in law who had a cabin up there. We started making plans immediately. On Jan. 28, we packed the car and waited for Miles to get off work.
Then drove straight to McCall.
It was dark when we arrived, but after a night's rest...we enjoyed this view of our weekend getaway!
We did lots of this off of the back porch....
We ate lots of snow...and tried to get others to taste it...
Made a few of these...
On Saturday morning, we got up early and took a ride up in the hills with Steve's brother, Scott. Beautiful views and fantastic snow! Here we are all suited up....Steve,Tiff, and Bonnie
A view from the top of the Mountain
I wouldn't say that this is my best look....
And finally we got to spend some time riding around the property doing this...
On Sunday, we headed into town to check out the snow sculptures! Since there are so many pictures, I will have to post them in a different post. We had a great time, and I hope we get to go again!
