We have news.....!!

So I also have another excuse for my absence in the blogging world!

In case all that didn't give it away.....We're going to have a baby! We are so excited! We let our families know over Thanksgiving break, and now we've officially been to the doctor. I guess the rest of the world can figure it out. We are nine weeks along, (I've been sick for days!) but we'll keep you posted on the details!

The Light Parade

The night after Thanksgiving, we went to the light parade in Old Town Poky. Brad (Miles Brother-in-law) was riding his motorcycle, so the girls, Milissa, Miles and myself all went to enjoy it. It was quite a show, even though it was freezing cold!

So I've been out of the blogging loop lately, but I will catch you up! I just couldn't post without having a picture! I have been quitebusy as of late, but first, I need to post about the Carrie Underwood Concert!! It was unbelievable, and I was on the floor in the thirteenth row! She is amazing!!!!

Costume Party

For those of you who know me, I don't do Halloween. It only takes about 1 halloween as a teacher for you to realize just how crazy the children get about halloween. However, I was a sport this year. I even went to TWO costume parties with Miles's friends. I was an inmate and Miles was a Ninja Turtle. He won the best costume contest, and he was excited. You can even catch him doing a celebration dance.

The Halloween Tradition

Each Halloween, since I lived in Rexburg, my sister and I have decided to go the haunted houses. Especially in the last few years, it's been a good time for us to spend together. So here we are...Miles, Tiff, Alicia and Steven. Enjoying the time we could spend together. Good times!

Backstage Pass

We went to see Secondhand Serenade at ISU this weekend. It was homecoming, and they were celebrating! But seriously, who doesn't love their new song, "Fall for You"!!! Plus, we got backstage passes (Miles little sister, Macee is dating the guy who was in charge of putting the concert together), and we actually chilled with John, the lead singer. We were so close that you couldn't take a pic of the whole band. FRONT ROW! It was awesome! (Besides the fight I got into with the jerk that tried to take my spot. I'm vicious when it comes to that stuff. The jerk found out how much I enjoyed my spot when I shoved him out of the way....haha hence the reason he's flipping the camera off in one of the pics!) Who cares dude....don't try to take my space!

We spent Saturday afternoon with my parents, Layne and my sister-in-law Melissa. It was a great time and it was good to hang out with the family. We don't get to do that often anymore!

My Mom decided to give this ride stuff a try....it only took a few swings on the Tidal Wave for her to remember that she didn't like rides! Ha ha....nice!
